I am a buyer for a big department store chain, I have been drowning in deadlines ever since I landed this position. My job entails me to travel a lot, and sometimes it seems that the airport is like my second home since I am there almost very week. A weekly task list composes of: I talk to my boss, delegate tasks, meet with various suppliers, source materials, calculate manufacturing costs, study trends and most importantly get the job done. I am a perfectionist and a go-getter which means I’d rather work than sleep then get worried about deadlines when I get up in the morning. Obviously, my life is all about work and I know I need to release stress on a regular basis! It’s been proven in studies that it’s unhealthy to dedicate more than half of your life working. My productivity would surely go down a few levels if I continue this lifestyle. I love playing poker to let go of my stress. But lately, it has been eating me up and I haven’t got any free time to join poker nights. Since I do almost everything online, (shop for clothes, groceries etc.), I decided to look for an online poker site. A colleague recommended poker, I can now play poker anywhere and anytime. I play a lot of texas holdem poker and 7 card stud poker. I don’t need to think about poker night schedules, or even potluck food! I can now squeeze poker in my schedule. After all, life is not all about work, it’s about play too!
